Griffon Marine has announced the appointment of Anna Lambert as its new Head of Shipyard, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it builds on a highly successful year of commercial growth, new contract wins and industry recognition.
Anna joins Griffon Marine with a wealth of experience spanning military, government and commercial sectors, bringing a proven track record in programme delivery, operations and maritime project leadership.
Commenting on her appointment, Anna Lambert said:

In her new role, Anna will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational performance of Griffon Marine’s shipyard. This includes overseeing refit and retrofit programmes, managing complex vessel projects, driving efficiencies across the yard, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction. She will also play a key role in scaling the shipyard’s capabilities to meet increasing demand from marine operators seeking specialist engineering expertise.

Anna’s career spans a broad range of high-profile organisations, including SYOS, L3Harris Technologies, Carnival UK (P&O Cruises & Cunard), and BAE Systems. Her experience covers programme delivery and operations across complex maritime environments, including naval platforms, cruise operations, autonomous vessel development, vessel refit and support, as well as Special Projects. She is also an advocate for Women in Defence and STEM initiatives.
Anna’s appointment reflects Griffon Marine’s continued investment in expertise and capability as it positions itself to address the evolving needs of marine operators, particularly in the fast-growing refit and retrofit market.
