Kim Skillet
Head of Finance
Kim studied Mechanical Engineering at Newcastle University, graduating in 2004. After briefly considering a career as a Maths Teacher, she moved to Southampton and trained as a Chartered Accountant with BDO, specialising in audit, including a six-month secondment to the tax team.
Kim joined the company in 2013 as a Commercial Accountant, and by 2015, her role shifted to a more financial focus, overseeing month-end and year-end processes. In 2018, she briefly worked as a Project Accountant, supporting the build of two 8100 hovercraft. Returning to the financial function as Finance Manager in 2019, Kim has successfully built and led a strong finance team.
