Kassi Young
Fabrication and Outfit Manager
Kassi joined Griffon Hovercraft in 2007 as a 16-year-old apprentice in Fabrication and Welding, after successfully completing her apprenticeship in 2011, she became a coded welder, working on hull builds.
In 2015, Kassi was promoted to Leading Hand, managing the offline welding department. By 2019 she was promoted to Fabrication and Welding Team Leader. In December 2023, she was appointed Spares & Aftersales Project Lead, coordinating parts supply and manufacturing. Now, as Fabrication & Outfitting Manager, Kassi oversees both departments, leading a team of supervisors to ensure the efficient running of operations.
