Griffon Marine Solutions specialises in vessel design and consultancy, helping clients navigate the evolving challenges of marine operations, including four specific areas of expertise: Maritime Border Security, Amphibious, Insertion, Riverine, and High Speed Near Coastal Ferries.

Griffon Marine Shipyard

Griffon Marine’s Shipyard at Trafalgar Wharf in Portchester has over 36,000 sq ft of interior space for multi-project capacity of lightweight marine vessels construction, aluminium marine fabrications and lean production lines with slipway access.

This main facility is supplemented by dedicated buildings for accommodating the specialised equipment and personnel, including marine skills education provision required to produce all aspects of craft fulfilment.

This facility is a centre of excellence for full fabrication capabilities with extensive aluminium class codings, mechanical engineering/installation, electrical & electronic engineering/installation and outfitting of marine vessels to internationally recognised standards and certifications. Maintenance and re-fit projects can also be accommodated on site or in country.

Griffon Marine Support understands the issues critical to marine operators worldwide, namely maximising despatch reliability, minimising vessel downtime and ensuring crews are trained and confident to deliver the specific mission profiles their role or industry sector requires.

Griffon Marine Support has a clear objective; to deliver 24/7 year-round global support to operators to achieve these goals, providing spares, engineering support and crew training either through our own hugely experienced team of engineers and pilots, or through trusted and proven partners and shipyards.

Griffon Hoverwork has been absorbed into the new Griffon Marine brand, ensuring that its recognised excellence, in designing, building and maintaining hovercraft and training hovercraft personnel around the world, continues to lead the amphibious sector. Additionally over six decades of experience in the maritime industry is available to deliver success for customers with both hovercraft, or other marine vessel requirements.
